2018, the visual year

orange sweater

Years ago, I would've been hitting "publish" on my first blog post of the year on or around the 1st week of January and I'd be relishing in the fact that I was already off to a great start at being a good, organized blogger who will eventually make this my full-time career because helllloo, everyone does sooner or later, right? Not this year, though. I didn't even bother to do a highlights of 2017 type of post because I honestly couldn't be bothered to write one and I assumed no one would bother to read it. This year, I plan to continue being a major photo-taker which, of course, is totally different than being a photographer. I just want to create photos that are visually appealing and that people can relate to and experience only positive emotions when viewing them. I want to become more comfortable in front of and behind the camera because honestly, both are equally important. 2018 will be my visual year. Hope you enjoy and let me know if you're doing something similar...

  2. I love that idea! This year I want to try and remember to take pictures of the small moments, the times that build memories. Often times I resist clicking the shutter because I'm not sure it will be a "good" photo. But this year I want to photograph everything!

    1. Yes! It's so important to just take the picture regardless of how you think it will turn out. Often, the pictures I like most are the ones that I put the least amount of effort into. :)
